Handheld mockup with live SSD1309 OLED. Hardware keys match firmware v6.0: MODE toggles BEACON / SEARCH only. LISTEN requires a USB serial link to a PC.

Hardware mockup BEACON
LISTEN is not on the MODE key. Connect USB to a laptop and send MODE LISTEN over serial. MODE short only toggles BEACON / SEARCH.

Serial bridge

LISTEN mode needs a PC

On the real device, LISTEN is not on the MODE button. Connect USB, open a terminal, send MODE LISTEN, then decode Morse on the OLED while audio plays on the speaker.

  1. 1 Plug USB-C into the beacon (115200 baud)
  2. 2 Open the serial bridge or any terminal
  3. 3 Send MODE LISTEN - device reboots into RX decode
